  • Mice/Rats

Nobody wants rodents in or around their home, but these creatures will invade your building if they sense that there is a reasonable amount of food, shelter, and moisture available to sustain them inside. Many rodents can be carriers of a variety of diseases like Hanta Virus and/or Lyme disease as well as fleas or ticks. • Bees/Wasps

Bees and Wasps can not only be responsible for unsightly nests attached to your home, they can also be dangerous. The two greatest risks from most insect stings are allergic reaction (which occasionally could be fatal in some individuals) and infection (more common and less serious). If you see bees building a nest on/around your house, you probably should call a licensed pest management company to deal with them.

  • Cluster Flies

All flies are annoying but these two species are a real nuisance. Fruit Flies are perhaps the smallest flies you'll encounter indoors, and you'll usually find them in the kitchen or food prep areas, especially in late summer or early fall. Cluster Flies are somewhat larger, and when they wind up indoors they seem sluggish, and usually just walk on walls. They are in the house in the Fall to over-winter there in a protected environment. Treating for either of these species is very difficult and very dependent on both the property owner and the pest control professional working together. More Info

  • Carpenter Ants

There are telltale signs like sawdust and dead ants around your house that you can look for, or you can call a licensed pest management company to do a thorough inspection and treat the problem. • Roaches

There are several species of Roaches that we deal with in the Northeast, but two that we see quite often are the American Roach and the German Roach. Roaches have long been associated with higher levels of asthma illnesses, especially with children. Roaches will often be found near cooking and food prep areas and if left unchecked the population can multiply from just a few adults to thousands in just a few months. As with many insects, there are telltale signs around the kitchen that you can look for, or you can call a licensed pest management company to do a thorough inspection and treatment. More Info

  • Fleas

While everyone normally associates Fleas with pets, the truth is that Fleas exist out in the yard too. Dealing with Fleas is very difficult because they move around so much. Like a mosquito or bed bug, Fleas will use a pet as a convenient host, but they can use people too. If left unchecked, Fleas can multiply into millions so if you're suspicious call a licensed pest management company to do a thorough inspection and treatment.

  • Spiders

Most Spiders are more of a cosmetic nuisance than a threat to humans although there are many species that can bite. Spiders feed mainly on insects, and if you manage your in-house insect population chances are you'll see fewer and fewer spiders around the house. You can call a licensed pest management company to do a thorough general insect treatment that will minimize the spider population.

  • Millipedes and Centipedes

Millipedes and Centipedes are unsightly creatures. Often referred to as "Hundred Leggers" (Centipedes) or "Thousand Leggers" (Millipedes), they prefer areas of high humidity and dampness.
